I just found out about Weebly! So I'm turning over some ideas in my head for how to get my piano students on the net. Check back to see what we add.
About Brenda:
I started taking piano lessons when I was in 2nd grade from my elementary music teacher Miss Jelm. Over the course of my piano lesson career I had 3 teachers. After Miss Jelm, I took lessons from my Jr. High music teacher Mr. Norris and my last piano teacher was my pastor's wife Mrs. Eldridge. I had to stop taking piano lessons at the end of my 8th grade year because my other musical activities (like school musicals, CTW musicals and voice lessons) were taking up more of my time. But those early piano lessons really helped me out in college as I studied to become a music teacher!

I like learning songs and knowing that I know how to play a song. Oh and I have a really good teacher.!
I don't like songs I can't get and sometimes practicing.

Piano Likes and Dislikes:
I like when I pass all my songs. I also like when we have contests in the summer!
I don't lilke when I don't pass all my songs. I don't like that our contest for this summer is on how many pages we pass. I liked last year when we had a contest for how many minutes we practiced!

I want to learn to play the piano. I like to play piano.

I like passing my songs and I like songs that I can catch on to real fast and sound good. I don't like when my Mom says I have to practice when I'm doing something fun.

I like playing fun songs and making it a challenge to learn.
I don't lilke practicing at home because it wastes precious time used for swimming on nice days, having friends over, playing outside and playing Ms. Pacman in the playroom.

I really like to learn really neat songs that I can play for my family over and over again. I don't like it when we have to fill out the practice schedule sheets, and when I have to keep on practicing the same song.

I like passing song and getting rewards. I don't like not passing my songs.

I like my teacher the best. She walks us through songs so we understand what to do. When there is a new word or phrase she tells us what it means.
I don't like having to memorize harder songs because I like for things to come easy.
